About Just Care Products
Just Care Products is a local business offering mobility solutions to suit your needs. The business has been trading since August 2011, and the showroom is based on the Spring Valley Industrial Estate where we have ample free parking and easy access.
The business offers practical solutions for everyday problems and we are able to provide our customers with a wide selection of products including daily living aids for the home, mobility scooters, wheelchairs (both powered and manual), rollators and walkers, rise recline chairs; as well as consumable products such as continence and hygiene products.
We also carry out repairs and servicing with our own service engineer, who works out of our workshop or if more convenient, will visit the customer in their own home. Just Care Products believe that we are the only members of the British Healthcare Trades Association “BHTA” on the Isle of Man which means that we have agreed to abide by its Code of Practice, which has been approved by the Trading Standards Institute. This means that our customers can expect to be treated courteously by our staff who know about the products and services we are selling and who will offer a fair and transparent terms of business.
In support of the products and services we sell, guidance documents are available, these include “what to look out for when purchasing a Rise and Recline chair” or points to note when buying a mobility scooter. We also have a Facebook page and product information leaflets which our customers can take away and read. At Just Care Products we understand our customers and their needs and ensure that our customer service standards are maintained.
About The Team
Amy has been running Just Care Products Limited (a retail business selling Mobility and disability products on the Isle of Man) since July 2017, having bought the business as a going concern. In this short time, Amy is taking the business from strength to strength with the help of Rebecca Kneen (Shop Manager) and Amy’s husband, Dermot Maguire who is the Service Engineer
Amy has been working in the ‘care’ world for many years – both working as a carer in London (where she lived for 20 years) and on the Isle of Man. Amy also runs and is the editor of a local magazine called Family Manx Magazine and is a trained Piano Teacher. All these have given Amy many years of experience working with people who are vulnerable or who may just need that extra helping hand.
Rebecca has worked in the retail and customer care ‘world’ all of her working life – but growing up in the retail trade too. Like Amy, she is passionate about working in the mobility and disability field and they both hope to bring to the business that extra ‘little something’ to ensure that customers leave the shop feeling ‘looked after’.
Rebecca and Amy are working hard to understand all the products that are sold and are always researching products that they think will enable customers to live as full and as independent a life as they can.
